Coffee production in Brasil is responsible for about a third of all coffee in the world, Brasil is by far the world’s largest producer and the country has held this record at last 150 years. Brazilian coffee production started since the early 19th century, when the Italian immigrants came to work in the coffee plantations.

The best Brazilian coffees are soft, nutty, low acidity and offer a nice bittersweet chocolate taste. Brazilian coffee makes an excellent base for flavored coffees.
